The conversion includes a publicly accessible reading and study room, a large meeting room and offices. The reading room on the ground floor is accessed via an external staircase. The generously dimensioned stair landing is visually connected to the interior by a glass door. The access area is covered by a glass roof: the platform and staircase can be used as an informal communication and lounge area.

The transition into the building is emphasized by a black-painted niche. You enter the building through a small vestibule, the rear wall of which is glazed room-high. The black- coated walls and the small size of the vestibule make the adjoining anteroom appear large than it actually is. Surface-mounted lights made of anodized aluminum create a spatial rhythm.
